Plant cytoplasmic male sterility(CMS)is maternally inherited and often manifested as aborted pollen development,but the molecular basis of abortion remains to be identified.To facilitate an investigation of CMS in cot...Plant cytoplasmic male sterility(CMS)is maternally inherited and often manifested as aborted pollen development,but the molecular basis of abortion remains to be identified.To facilitate an investigation of CMS in cotton,the complete sequence of cotton mitochondrial(mt)genome for CMS-D2 line ZBA was determined.The mt genome was assembled as a single circular molecule with 634,036 bp in length.A total of 194 ORFs,36 protein-coding genes,six r RNAs,and 24 t RNAs were identified.Several chimeric genes encoding hypothetical proteins with transmembrane domains were identified.Among them,a previously unknown chimeric gene,orf610a,which is composed of atp1 and a 485-bp downstream sequence of unknown nature,was identified.RT-PCR and q RT-PCR validation indicated that orf610a was expressed specifically in a sterile line.Ectopic expression of orf610a in yeast resulted in excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species and reduction in ATP content,in addition to inhibition of cellular growth.Transgenic A.thaliana overexpressing orf610a fused with a mitochondrial targeting peptide displayed partial male sterility.Interaction between ORF610a and the nuclear-encoded protein RD22 indicated an association between ORF610a and pollen abortion.Positive feedback during transcriptional regulation between nuclear regulatory factors and the mt CMS gene may account for the male sterility of ZBA.展开更多

At present, with the development of mitochondrial genomics, it is helpful to understand the phylogenetic relationship from the mitogenomic level. The complete mitochondrial genome of Chthamalus challengeri was presented. The genome is a circular molecule of 15 358 bp. Compared with other species in Balanomorpha, the non-coding region is longer, while the length of the genes is similar to the other species. The overall A+T content of the mitochondrial genome of C. challengeri is 70.5%. There are variations of initiation and stop codons in the known Balanomorpha mitochondrial genomes. The C. challengeri and C. antennatus within the same genus share the identical gene arrangement. However, the gene arrangement of different genera in Chthamalidae is different, as there is a translocation between two tRNA genes and an inversion involving a large gene block. In particular, both srRNA and lrRNA of the two species in Chthamalus are encoded in the heavy strand, differing from the former Balanomorpha species. The topology and gene arrangement in Chthamalidae support each other. Phylogenetic analysis indicates that the Chthamalidae is monophyletic, while the Balanidae and Archaeobalanidae are polyphyletic.展开更多
Objective:To explore the effect of detail nursing in neurosurgery.Methods:72 cases of neurosurgery patients in our hospital from July 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research sample,and they were divided into d...Objective:To explore the effect of detail nursing in neurosurgery.Methods:72 cases of neurosurgery patients in our hospital from July 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research sample,and they were divided into detail nursing group and routine nursing group,with 36 cases in each group.The retrospective analysis method was used to compare the effect of nursing intervention between the two groups.Results:The scores of anxiety(23.25±1.97*),depression(25.75±2.53*)and social activity ability(23.13±2.36*)in detail nursing group were higher than those in routine nursing group;The nursing satisfaction of detail nursing group was 35 cases(97.22%),significantly higher than that of routine nursing group 26 cases(72.22%),P<0.05,with statistical significance.Conclusion:Through the details of neurosurgery patients nursing means,to improve the prognosis of patients with recovery and improve the quality of life have significant effect,can reduce the complications of patients with prognosis,improve the patient's cognition of details of nursing,reduce the contradiction between doctors and patients,improve nursing satisfaction,has high clinical application and promotion value.展开更多

As typical representative of loop diuretics ethacrynic acid or furosemide o...Over the past two decades considerable progress has been made in understanding the ototoxic effects and mechanisms underlying loop diuretics. As typical representative of loop diuretics ethacrynic acid or furosemide only induces temporary hearing loss, but rarely permanent deafness unless applied in severe acute or chronic renal failure or with other ototoxic drugs. Loop diuretic induce unique pathological changes in the cochlea such as formation of edematous spaces in the epithelium of the stria vascularis, which leads to rapid decrease of the endolymphatic potential and eventual loss of the cochlear microphonic potential, summating potential, and compound action potential. Loop diuretics interfere with strial adenylate cyclase and Nat/Kt-ATPase and inhibit the Na-K-2Cl cotransporter in the stria vascularis, however recent reports indicate that one of the earliest effects in vivo is to abolish blood flow in the vessels supplying the lateral wall. Since ethacrynic acid does not damage the stria vascularis in vitro, the changes in Nat/Kt-ATPase and Na-K-2Cl seen in vivo may be secondary effects results from strial ischemia and anoxia. Recent observations showing that renin is present in pericytes surrounding stria arterioles suggest that diuretics may induce local vasoconstriction by renin secretion and angiotensin formation. The tight junctions in the blood-cochlea barrier prevent toxic molecules and pathogens from entering cochlea, but when diuretics induce a transient ischemia, the barrier is temporarily disrupted allowing the entry of toxic chemicals or pathogens.展开更多

By using the established simple method, without grinding, freezing, centrifugation and drying, the genomic DNA extraction process is shorter than 3 min. Compared with the conventional method, PCR detection system and silver staining in polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of the established method are more time-saving and cost-saving. The whole detection process is shorter than 4 h, and 480 samples can be detected with this method by one person in one day. In addition, the detection result exhibits a coincidence rate of 99% with field identification. The simple SSR-based method established in this study can provide basis for large-scale rapid purity identification of Cucurbita moschata hybrids.展开更多

Large deflection postbuckling responses of metamaterial cylindrical shells perforated by arrayed circular holes are investigated through a newly proposed theoretical model incorporating with finite element method and ...Large deflection postbuckling responses of metamaterial cylindrical shells perforated by arrayed circular holes are investigated through a newly proposed theoretical model incorporating with finite element method and experiment.The triggering of an unusual pattern transformation under compressive load(that shows special hyperelastic metamaterial characteristics)contributes to the particularity of the postbucklingmodes,in which the axisymmetric waisted and non-axisymmetric postbuckling configurations of perforated cylindrical shells are identified.The transformations of postbucking modes are mainly affected by global outline sizes of the shell and local geometrical parameters of holes.The structural load-carrying capacity for the waisted postbuckling response suffers a sudden drop and recovers when the holes collapse.Comparatively,the shell would undergo a sustained fall off under non-axisymmetric postbuckling states.The negative Poisson’s ratio induced by pattern transformation plays a key role and a critical effective threshold value exists,inducing the waisted postbuckling mode.The revealed principles would be of benefit for achieving a controllable structural stability that is usually difficult to implement on those conventional structures.展开更多

The push for renewable energy emphasizes the need for energy storage systems(ESSs)to mitigate the unpre-dictability and variability of these sources,yet challenges such as high investment costs,sporadic utilization,an...The push for renewable energy emphasizes the need for energy storage systems(ESSs)to mitigate the unpre-dictability and variability of these sources,yet challenges such as high investment costs,sporadic utilization,and demand mismatch hinder their broader adoption.In response,shared energy storage systems(SESSs)offer a more cohesive and efficient use of ESS,providing more accessible and cost-effective energy storage solutions to overcome these obstacles.To enhance the profitability of SESSs,this paper designs a multi-time-scale resource allocation strategy based on long-term contracts and real-time rental business models.We initially construct a life cycle cost model for SESS and introduce a method to estimate the degradation costs of multiple battery groups by cycling numbers and depth of discharge within the SESS.Subsequently,we design various long-term contracts from both capacity and energy perspectives,establishing associated models and real-time rental models.Lastly,multi-time-scale resource allocation based on the decomposition of user demand is proposed.Numerical analysis validates that the business model based on long-term contracts excels over models operating solely in the real-time market in economic viability and user satisfaction,effectively reducing battery degradation,and leveraging the aggregation effect for SESS can generate an additional increase of 10.7%in net revenue.展开更多
目的探讨空心环钻与数字化手术导板联合应用于制备自体牙移植受植窝洞的有效性及准确性。方法从2022年5—8月就诊于广州医科大学附属口腔医院颌面外科的患者中招募了16例磨牙缺失并接受自体牙移植修复的患者,实验对象采用随机数字表方...目的探讨空心环钻与数字化手术导板联合应用于制备自体牙移植受植窝洞的有效性及准确性。方法从2022年5—8月就诊于广州医科大学附属口腔医院颌面外科的患者中招募了16例磨牙缺失并接受自体牙移植修复的患者,实验对象采用随机数字表方法分为自由手组和导板组,每组8例。导板组用锥形束CT(CBCT)和口内扫描系统进行扫描,将结果导入Mimics 21.0,分析受体部位区域选择供体牙,模拟供体牙的植入以确定植入位置。设计基于空心环钻的数字化导板导向套,并生成数字化导板。自由手组按照常规自体牙移植手术流程,术中采用3D打印供牙模型试植,自由手预备窝洞。术后对患者重新进行CBCT扫描,使用Geomagic Control X匹配并对术前设计牙齿位置与术后实际牙齿位置进行比较。结果自体牙移植术后1年的随访中,两组的移植牙均成功愈合。导板组备洞时间为(323±50)s,自由手组为(522±91)s,两者相比差异有统计学意义(t=5.394,P<0.001)。导板组3D供牙试植次数(2.9±0.8)次,自由手组3D供牙试植次数(4.1±1.2)次,两者相比差异有统计学意义(t=2.357,P=0.034)。导板组术前术后牙齿的三维位置对比分析,显示牙体长轴的角度偏差为(9.0±5.5)°,3D偏差显示牙齿中心点的偏差为(1.0±0.6)mm,根尖偏差为(2.1±1.1)mm,移植牙相对于术前设计牙齿位置偏差较小。结论通过使用新方法,自体牙移植备洞时间缩短,过程可靠精确,深度可控,备洞流程简化,备洞过程中空心环钻取出骨块可用于自体牙移植牙槽骨缺损的骨移植,自体骨愈合效果好,节约成本。展开更多

文摘The push for renewable energy emphasizes the need for energy storage systems(ESSs)to mitigate the unpre-dictability and variability of these sources,yet challenges such as high investment costs,sporadic utilization,and demand mismatch hinder their broader adoption.In response,shared energy storage systems(SESSs)offer a more cohesive and efficient use of ESS,providing more accessible and cost-effective energy storage solutions to overcome these obstacles.To enhance the profitability of SESSs,this paper designs a multi-time-scale resource allocation strategy based on long-term contracts and real-time rental business models.We initially construct a life cycle cost model for SESS and introduce a method to estimate the degradation costs of multiple battery groups by cycling numbers and depth of discharge within the SESS.Subsequently,we design various long-term contracts from both capacity and energy perspectives,establishing associated models and real-time rental models.Lastly,multi-time-scale resource allocation based on the decomposition of user demand is proposed.Numerical analysis validates that the business model based on long-term contracts excels over models operating solely in the real-time market in economic viability and user satisfaction,effectively reducing battery degradation,and leveraging the aggregation effect for SESS can generate an additional increase of 10.7%in net revenue.
文摘目的探讨空心环钻与数字化手术导板联合应用于制备自体牙移植受植窝洞的有效性及准确性。方法从2022年5—8月就诊于广州医科大学附属口腔医院颌面外科的患者中招募了16例磨牙缺失并接受自体牙移植修复的患者,实验对象采用随机数字表方法分为自由手组和导板组,每组8例。导板组用锥形束CT(CBCT)和口内扫描系统进行扫描,将结果导入Mimics 21.0,分析受体部位区域选择供体牙,模拟供体牙的植入以确定植入位置。设计基于空心环钻的数字化导板导向套,并生成数字化导板。自由手组按照常规自体牙移植手术流程,术中采用3D打印供牙模型试植,自由手预备窝洞。术后对患者重新进行CBCT扫描,使用Geomagic Control X匹配并对术前设计牙齿位置与术后实际牙齿位置进行比较。结果自体牙移植术后1年的随访中,两组的移植牙均成功愈合。导板组备洞时间为(323±50)s,自由手组为(522±91)s,两者相比差异有统计学意义(t=5.394,P<0.001)。导板组3D供牙试植次数(2.9±0.8)次,自由手组3D供牙试植次数(4.1±1.2)次,两者相比差异有统计学意义(t=2.357,P=0.034)。导板组术前术后牙齿的三维位置对比分析,显示牙体长轴的角度偏差为(9.0±5.5)°,3D偏差显示牙齿中心点的偏差为(1.0±0.6)mm,根尖偏差为(2.1±1.1)mm,移植牙相对于术前设计牙齿位置偏差较小。结论通过使用新方法,自体牙移植备洞时间缩短,过程可靠精确,深度可控,备洞流程简化,备洞过程中空心环钻取出骨块可用于自体牙移植牙槽骨缺损的骨移植,自体骨愈合效果好,节约成本。
