This device was developed on the basis of previous Bonner sphere spectrometry (BSS), aiming to obtain a more accurate neutron spectrum in the HL-2A tokamak hall. The previous BSS contained eight Bonner spheres (BS). This EBSS contains 13 3He-filled detectors embedded in polyethylene spheres (PS), pre-amplifiers, and a parallel processing data acquisition system (DAQ). A response matrix is simulated in Geant4 taking the effect of the environment into account.展开更多

Background Unstable angina occurs when atherosclerotic plaquerupture.Recent evidence suggests a role for inflammation in this process.Leukocyte-endothelial cell interactions are important in inflammationand are regula...Background Unstable angina occurs when atherosclerotic plaquerupture.Recent evidence suggests a role for inflammation in this process.Leukocyte-endothelial cell interactions are important in inflammationand are regulated by cell adhesion melecules.As a kind of cell adhesionmelecules,P-selectin in platelets and endothelial cells mediates adhesiveinteraction with leukocytes to form thrombi.The purpuru of this studywar to invvstigate plasma levels of soluble P-selectin in patients withunstable angina and in health volunteers.Methods and Results Plasma P-selectin levels were determinedby a monoclonal antibody-bared enzyme immunoassay on plasma samplestaken from 27 patients with unstable angina,46 healthy volunteers.Patientswith unstable angina had angina at rest associated with ECG changes.Blood sample(2ml)was collected within 3 hours after the attack .Inpatiants with unstable angina,plasma P-seleatin levels(23.2±7.5ng/ml)were significently(P【0.005)higher than those in volunteers(10.12±7.61ng/ml)Conclusions our data indicate that soluble P-selectin released intothe blood after the attack of unstable angina and the levels of P-selectin inpatients with unstable angina were increased significantly.Our data indicatethat measur-ements of plasma P-selectin may help us to understandthe pathophysiology of unstable angina and may be clinically usefulas a new molecular marker of platelet aggregation and thrombus fomationin acute coronary syndrom.展开更多
Forest stand structure is not only a crucial factor for regulating forest functioning but also an important indicator for sustainable forest management and ecosystem services.Although there exists a few national/globa...Forest stand structure is not only a crucial factor for regulating forest functioning but also an important indicator for sustainable forest management and ecosystem services.Although there exists a few national/global structure databases for natural forests,a country-wide synthetic structure database for plantation forests over China,the world’s largest player in plantation forests,has not been achieved.In this study,we built a country-wide synthetic stand structure database by surveying more than 600 peer-reviewed literature.The database covers tree species,mean stand age,mean tree height,stand density,canopy coverage,diameter at breast height,as well as the associated ancillary in-situ topographical and soil properties.A total of 594 pub-lished studies concerning diverse forest stand structure parameters were compiled for 46 tree species.This first synthesis for stand structure of plantation forests over China supports studies on the evolution/health of plantation forests in response to rapid climate change and intensified disturbances,and benefits country-wide sustainable forest management,future afforestation or reforestation planning.Potential users include those studying forest community dynamics,regional tree growth,ecosystem stability,and health,as well as those working with conservation and sustainable management.This dataset is freely acces-sible at http://www.doi.org/10.11922/sciencedb.j00076.00091.展开更多
Comparison and analysis of physicochemical properties and oxidative stability of 10 brands of camellia oils were conducted in this study.Results showed that more attention should be paid to the iodine(IV),saponificati...Comparison and analysis of physicochemical properties and oxidative stability of 10 brands of camellia oils were conducted in this study.Results showed that more attention should be paid to the iodine(IV),saponification(SV)and peroxide(PV)values of camellia oils during sampling inspection as they were more likely to be out the range of quality standards.Regression analysis between physicochemical indices and oxidative stability showed individual index could not affect the stability of camellia oils significantly(p>0.05).However,very high correlations were found between physical indices such as optical rotation(OR)and turbidity(R=-0.929),turbidity and color(R=-0.930).High correlations were found between chemical indices such as IV and moisture and volatile matter(MVM)(R=-0.853),IV and PV(R=0.831),MVM and PV(R=-0.809).Package with nitrogen could retard the oxidation of camellia oil.These results may be useful for rapid evaluation,differentiation and quality improvement of camellia oils.展开更多
