Clinical data, such as clinical manifestations, radiologieal and pathological images and surgical recordings, were collected. Results: Of the 207 included patients, females accounted for 76.81%, and the mean patient age was 52.04 years. Malignancy was more common in older patients who presented with marasmus and jaundice. Other risk factors included solid components in the tumor, a large tumor size, and elevated levels of tumor markers. Surgical treatment was required when a malignant tumor was suspected. The operation approach was selected based on the location, size and characteristics of the tumor. The position of the tumor relative to the pancreatic duct also played a significant role.展开更多

Its cDNA has a total length of 1 038 bp, and was speculated to code 345 amino acids, comprising an complete open reading frame. The isoelectric point is 8.57, and the molecular weight is 38.2 KD. The protein is a neutral hydrophobin without transmentbrane structure. There are two MYBDNA domains at the N terminal. The fluorescence quantitative PCR results showed that CcMYB gene was expressed in all the root, stem, leaf, flower, placenta and fruit tissue of pepper, and the expression level was the highest in fruit ; and CcMYB was expressed in fruit at the highest level at turning stage, and at the second highest level at expansion stage, which accords with the expression profile of punl gene in fruit development period. It is speculated that CcMYB gene plays an important role in the regulation of capsaicine synthesis in C. chinense fruit.展开更多
Long-term deposition of atmospheric pollutants emitted from coal combustion and their effects on the eco-environment have been extensively studied around coal-fired power plants.However,the effects of coal-fired power...Long-term deposition of atmospheric pollutants emitted from coal combustion and their effects on the eco-environment have been extensively studied around coal-fired power plants.However,the effects of coal-fired power plants on soil microbial communities have received little attention through atmospheric pollutant deposition and coal-stacking.Here,we collected the samples of power plant soils(PS),coal-stacking soils(CSS)and agricultural soils(AS)around three coal-fired power plants and background control soils(BG)in Huainan,a typical mineral resource-based city in East China,and investigated the microbial diversity and community structures through a high-throughput sequencing technique.Coal-stacking significantly increased(p<0.05)the contents of total carbon,total nitrogen,total sulfur and Mo in the soils,whereas the deposition of atmospheric pollutants enhanced the levels of V,Cu,Zn and Pb.Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Thaumarchaeota,Thermoplasmata,Ascomycota and Basidiomycota were the dominant taxa in all soils.The bacterial community showed significant differences(p<0.05)among PS,CSS,AS and BG,whereas archaeal and fungal communities showed significant differences(p<0.01)according to soil samples around three coal-fired power plants.The predominant environmental variables affecting soil bacterial,archaeal and fungal communities were Mo-TN-TS,Cu-V-Mo,and organic matter(OM)-Mo,respectively.Certain soil microbial genera were closely related to multiple key factors associated with stacking coal and heavy metal deposition from power plants.This study provided useful insight into better understanding of the relationships between soil microbial communities and long-term disturbances from coal-fired power plants.展开更多
Background:The Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility(TPSR)model in physical education(PE)has been shown to promote Social and emotional competence(SEC).However,the underlying mechanisms through which TPSR enhanc...Background:The Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility(TPSR)model in physical education(PE)has been shown to promote Social and emotional competence(SEC).However,the underlying mechanisms through which TPSR enhances SEC,particularly in university students within the Chinese context,remain unclear.This study aims to explore the effects of TPSR and the mediating roles of self-efficacy and grit in improving SEC.Methods:71 Chinese university students were in the TPSR group,and 39 in the Traditional Teaching Model(TTM)control group,assessed before and after a 14-week intervention.The Adapted Social and Emotional Competence Scale(ASECS),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES),and Short Grit Scale(SGS)were used for measurement.A mixed-design ANOVA assessed TPSR’s effects,with post-hoc t-tests for pre-post differences and mediation analysis for underlying mechanisms.Results:The mixed-design ANOVA revealed a significant interaction between time and intervention on SEC.The TPSR group showed significant improvement from pre-test to post-test(t(70)=−2.63,p=0.011,Cohen’s d=−0.31),whereas the TTM control group did not(t(38)=1.40,p=0.170,Cohen’s d=0.22).The TPSR group also showed a significant increase in self-efficacy(t(70)=−3.67,p<0.001,Cohen’s d=−0.44),while no change was observed in the TTM group(t(38)=0.62,p=0.540,Cohen’s d=0.10).No significant effects were found for grit(F=0.342,p=0.560).Mediation analysis confirmed that self-efficacy significantly mediated the effects of the TPSR intervention on SEC(95%CI:0.0277 to 0.2897).Conclusion:The TPSR intervention led to significant improvements in university students’SEC and self-efficacy,with no significant changes observed in grit.Self-efficacy served as a mediator in the relationship between the intervention and SEC.展开更多

The associations among SNPs,clinical daily cognitive states, and postmortem neuropathological changes were analyzed in 110 human brains from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences/Peking Union Medical College(CAMS/PUMC) Human Brain Bank.APOE ?4(OR = 4.482, P = 0.004), the RS2305421 GG genotype(adjusted OR = 4.397, P = 0.015), and the RS10498633 GT genotype(adjusted OR = 2.375,P = 0.028) were associated with a higher score on the ABC(Ab plaque score, Braak NFT stage, and CERAD neuritic plaque score) dementia scale.
