Firstly, the timevarying fault-tolerant formation tracking process for the multiple cruise missile system is divided into the guidance loop and the control loop. Then protocols are constructed to accomplish distributed fault-tolerant formation tracking in the guidance loop with the adaptive updating mechanism, in the condition where neither the knowledge about actuator malfunctions nor any global information of the communication topology remains available. Moreover, sufficient conditions to accomplish formation tracking are presented, and it is shown that the multiple cruise missile system can carry on the predefined time-varying fault-tolerant control (FTC) formation tracking through the active disturbances rejection controller (ADRC) and the proportion integration (PI) controller by the way of the fault-tolerant protocol utilizing the designed strategies, in the event of actuator failures. At last, numerical analysis and simulation are designed to verify the theoretical results.展开更多

Based on temperature profiles from four Argo floats near the coast of Vietnam, a subsurface warm eddy was identified in spring and summer. The multi-year Argo and Global Temperature and Salinity Profile Programme(GTSPP) data were merged on a seasonal basis based on the data interpolating variational analysis(DIVA) method to reconstruct the three-dimensional temperature structure. There is a warm eddy in the central subsurface at 12.5°N, 111°E below300 m depth in spring, which does not exist in autumn and is weak in winter and summer. From CSIRO Atlas of Regional Seas(CARS) and Generalized Digital Environment Model(GDEM) reanalysis data, this subsurface warm eddy is also verified in spring.展开更多

To our knowledge, no systematic analysis has been conducted to evaluate the relationship between irisin levels and overweight/obesity. AIM To evaluate the association between circulating irisin levels and overweight/obesity. METHODS The Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, SCOPUS, and the ISI Web of Science were searched to retrieve all of the studies associated with circulating irisin levels and overweight/obesity. Standard mean difference values and 95% confidence intervals (CI) were estimated and pooled using meta-analysis methodology. RESULTS A total of 18 studies were included in our meta-analysis containing 1005 cases and 1242 controls. Our analysis showed that the circulating irisin level in overweight/obese people was higher than that in overall healthy controls (random effects MD = 0.63;95%CI: 0.22-1.05;P = 0.003). In the subgroup analysis by ethnicity, the irisin level was higher in overweight/obesity people than that in controls in Africa (random effects MD = 3.41;95%CI: 1.23-5.59;P < 0.05) but not in European, Asian, or American populations. In addition, in a subgroup analysis by age, the results showed that obese children exhibited a higher irisin level than controls (random effects MD = 0.86;95%CI: 0.28-1.43;P < 0.05). CONCLUSION This meta-analysis provides evidence that circulating irisin is higher in obese individuals compared to healthy controls and it is important to identify the relationship between circulating irisin levels and overweight/obesity in predicting overweight/obesity.展开更多

An improved BN structural learning algorithm with IF is designed to mine causal relationships among ocean variables to build network structure. Nondirectional inference mechanism of BN is applied to achieve the synchronous interpolation of multiple missing time series. Our results show that the A transition occurs in such a system, which interprets the perplexing phenomenon observed in the recent experiment [arXiv:1705.04496]. In that experiment, the frequency shift of the bosonic gas was measured with different fermion-fermion s-wave scattering lengths af. The most striking feature of their measurement is that the frequency shift shows a puzzling non-monotonic behavior around 1/kFaf(?)-0.2 with kF being the Fermi momentum. In the present work, the relation between the bosonic frequency shift and the compressibility of the Fermi gas is revealed by means of the equation of state of the super fluid mixture. Making use of the relation, we find that the compressibility of Fermi gas shows a ∧-like shape around 1/kFaf(?)-0.2. We would like to stress that no free parameter is used in our calculation and our results can be further testified in a future experiment.展开更多

It proposes a multi-objective fault detection criterion so that the fault residual is sensitive to the fault but insensitive to the uncertainty as much as possible. Then the paper solves the proposed criterion by maximizing the smallest singular value of the transformation from faults to fault detection residuals while minimizing the largest singular value of the transformation from input uncertainty to the fault detection residuals. This method is applied to an aircraft which has a fault in the left elevator or rudder. The simulation results show the proposed method can detect the control surface failures rapidly and efficiently.展开更多

Recent work has uncovered a growing number of bacterial small RNAs (sRNAs), some of which have been shown to regulate critical cellular processes. Computational approaches, in combination with molecular experiments, have played an important role in the identification of these sRNAs. At present, there is no information on the presence of small non-coding RNAs and their genes in the Agrobacterium tumefaciens genome. To identify potential sRNAs in this important bacterium, deep sequencing of the short RNA populations isolated from Agrobacterium tumefaciens C58 was carried out. From a data set of more than 10,000 short sequences, 16 candidate sRNAs have been tentatively identified based on computational analysis. All of these candidates can form stem-loop structures by RNA folding predictions and the majority of the secondary structures are rich in GC base-pairs::Some are followed by a short stretch of U residues, indicative of a rho-independent transcription terminator, whereas some of the short RNAs are found in the stem region of the hairpin, indicative of eukaryotic-like sRNAs. Experimental strategies will need to be used to verify these candidates. The study of an expanded list of candidate sRNAs in Agrobacterium will allow a more complete understanding of the range of roles played by regulatory RNAs in prokaryotes.展开更多

In order to overcome its shortage, an improved interpolation called Support Vector Machine-Kriging interpolation (SVM-Kriging) was proposed in this paper. The SVM-Kriging uses Least Square Support Vector Machine (LS-SVM) to fit the variogram, which needn’t select the basic variogram model and can directly get the optimal variogram of real interpolated field by using SVM to fit the variogram curve automatically. Based on GODAS data, by using the proposed SVM-Kriging and the general Kriging based on other traditional variogram models, the interpolation test was carried out and the interpolated results were analyzed contrastively. The test show that the variogram of SVM-Kriging can avoid the subjectivity of selecting the type of variogram models and the SVM-Kriging is better than the general Kriging based on other variogram model as a whole. Therefore, the SVM-Kriging is a good and adaptive interpolation method.展开更多

文摘In this study, subsurface eddies near the Vietnam coast of the South China Sea were observed with in situ observations, including Argo, CTD, XBT and some processed and quality controlled data. From CSIRO Atlas of Regional Seas(CARS) and Generalized Digital Environment Model(GDEM) reanalysis data, this subsurface warm eddy is also verified in spring.

文摘Objective:To investigate the effect and its underlying molecular mechanisms of essential oil from Saussurea costus in esophageal cancer cell line Eca109.Methods:The chemical composition of essential oil from Saussurea costus was investigated by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The anti-proliferative,anti-migrative,and apoptotic effects of essential oil from Saussurea costus against Eca109 cells were analyzed. Moreover, the expression of proteins associated with cell cycle, metastasis, and apoptosis was determined.Results:GC-MS analysis showed that essential oil from Saussurea costus was predominantly comprised of sesquiterpenes.Saussurea costus essential oil inhibited the viability of Eca109 cells in a dose-and time-dependent manner with IC_(50) values of(24.29±1.49),(19.16±2.27)and(6.97±0.86)μg/mL at 12,24,and 48 h,respectively. The expression levels of target proteins in the cell cycle(phase G_(1)/S),including cyclin D1,p21,and p53,were affected by Saussurea costus essential oil.The essential oil also downregulated the expression of metastasis-related proteins MMP-9 and MMP-2.Moreover,it induced apoptosis of Eca109 cells through the mitochondrial pathway,as well as inhibition of STAT3 phosphorylation. Conclusions:The essential oil from Saussurea costus exhibited anti-proliferative,anti-migrative,and apoptotic effects on Eca109 cells, and could be further explored as a potential anti-esophageal cancer agent.
文摘We study the relation between the bosonic frequency shift of a dipole oscillation and the fermionic compressibility in a Bose-Fermi super fluid mixture. We would like to stress that no free parameter is used in our calculation and our results can be further testified in a future experiment.

文摘We study the possibility of stabilizing a Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov(FFLO)state in an equally populated two-component Fermi gas trapped in a moving two-dimensional optical lattice. For a system with nearly half filling,we find that a finite pairing momentum perpendicular to the moving direction can be spontaneously induced for a proper choice of lattice velocity. As a result, the total pairing momentum is tilted towards the nesting vector to take advantage of the significant enhancement of the density of states.

文摘This paper considers robust fault detection and diagnosis for input uncertain nonlinear systems. The simulation results show the proposed method can detect the control surface failures rapidly and efficiently.
文摘Small non-coding RNAs with important regulatory roles are not confined to eukaryotes. The study of an expanded list of candidate sRNAs in Agrobacterium will allow a more complete understanding of the range of roles played by regulatory RNAs in prokaryotes.

文摘We show that reactive molecules with a unit probability of reaction naturally provide a simulator of some intriguing black hole physics. The unit reaction at the short distance acts as an event horizon and delivers a one-way traffic for matter waves passing through the potential barrier when two molecules interact by high partialwave scatterings or dipole-dipole interactions. In particular, the scattering rate as a function of the incident energy exhibits a thermal-like distribution near the maximum of the interaction energy in the same manner as a scalar field scatters with the potential barrier outside the event horizon of a black hole.Such a thermal-like scattering can be extracted from the temperature-dependent two-body loss rate measured in experiments on KRb and other molecules.
文摘In Kriging interpolation, the types of variogram model are very finite, which make the variogram very difficult to describe the spatial distributional characteristics of true data. Therefore, the SVM-Kriging is a good and adaptive interpolation method.

文摘Endogenous opioid peptides(EOP)are the neurochemical basis of the anesthetic and analgesic effects of acupuncture, and the quantity of acupuncture stimulus can be controlled accurately by using electroacupuncture(EA).The present study explores the dose-effect relationship between EA with different parameters and the regulation of EOP system. In this paper, the intervention effects of EA on EOP system were specially discussed in terms of the single factor and the different combinations of the frequency, waveform and current intensity. This study shows that EOP system presents a frequency-response specificity. The low frequency of EA promotes the release of enkephalin,β-endorphin and endomorphin, the high one activates the dynorphin system selectively, and the intermediate frequency works on promoting the release of enkephalin andβ-endorphin,as well as dynorphin.Sparse-dense wave of EA may induce the release of enkephalin,β-endorphin,endomorphin and dynorphin, presenting a synergistic effect. However, the waveform of EA should be selected flexibly in clinical practice.Sometimes the better therapeutic effect can also be obtained with the continuous wave of EA.EOP system is involved in mediating appropriate intensity of EA,while the acupuncture effect generated by an extra strong EA stimulation refers to a kind of stress response of non-opioid mechanism. The different combinations of EA parameters result in various effects. The combination of EA parameters should be optimized in accordance with different diseases, which is valuable for guiding clinical practice and the development of EA therapy.
