The amniocentesis has been used in clinics to evaluate the maturity of the fetal lung, which is invasive, expensive and time-consuming. Ultrasonography has been developed to examine the fetal lung quantitatively in the past decades as a non-invasive method. However, the contour of the fetal lung required by existing studies was delineated in manual. An automated segmentation approach could not only improve the objectiveness of those studies, but also offer a quantitative way to monitor the development of the fetal lung in terms of morphological parameters based on the segmentation. In view of this, we proposed a deep learning model for automated fetal lung segmentation and measurement. The model was constructed based on the U-Net. It was trained by 3500 data sets augmented from 250 ultrasound images with both the fetal lung and heart manually delineated, and then tested on 50 ultrasound data sets. With the proposed method, the fetal lung and cardiac area were automatically segmented with the accuracy, average IoU, sensitivity and precision being 0.98, 0.79, 0.881 and 0.886, respectively. </div>展开更多

In this article, we extend Chen's technique to the computation of coupled seismic and electromagnetic (EM) waves in layered porous media. Expanding the involved mechanical and electromagnetic fields by a set of scalar and vector wave-function basis, we obtain the fundamental equations which are subsequently solved by using a recently developed version of the LAC generalized reflection and transmission coefficients method. Our approach and corresponding program is validated by reciprocity tests. We also show a numerical example of a two-layer model with an explosion source. The P-to-EM conversion waves radiated from the interface may have potential application.展开更多

However, their ranges are not directly integrated with marine biota that defines the Cretaceous stages. Non-biotic events st, ch as magnetochrons and radiometric ages in these terrestrial deposits enable their correlation with marine strata. The SKI north and south compositcd cores in the Songliao Basin present a continuous section of Upper Cretaceous non-marine fossil and magneto- chron successions in superposed order. These chronostratigraphic events are integrated with marine events by an XIY graphic plot between the core data and a global database of Global Section and Stratotype Points (GSSP) and key reference sections. This plot projects stage boundaries in marine sections into the SKI section and interpolates numerical ages to the tirst and last occurrences of biota and to lithostratigraphic boundaries. This stratigraphic experiment tests and relines age calibrations based on both manual interpo- lation of depths to numerical ages and cyclostratigraphy. Ages derived by interpolation are similar and ages by cyclostratigraphy are older because stage boundaries are calibrated to a different age scale.展开更多

Among many factors of threeelectrode gas spark gap, background pressure is of much importance in determining the gap performance parameters such as the delay and jitter, and relevant studies have been rarely performed. A magneto-hydrodynamic model of the arc in gas spark gap is built and the effects of background pressure on the arc characteristics are discussed in this paper. It is demonstrated that a higher background pressure may result in radial compression of the arc column, a higher arc voltage, and a lower declination rate of arc resistance in the first quarter cycle. Relevant simulation data would be helpful for the optimization of the design of gas spark gap.展开更多

The results show that rising wages caused by short-term internal and external impact increases the pressure on the employment in two sectors, and the urban sector is difficult to absorb the surplus labor of the rural sector. However, under the conditions of free flow of factors and fully competitive market, the wage variation arising from the long-term endogenous evolution, leads to inversely proportional relationship between the demand for labor in the urban and rural sectors, which is conducive to the transfer of rural labor force. Based on microeconomic survey data of labor flow in urban-rural coordination experimental zones in Chongqing City, this paper makes an empirical study of the main factors having a short-term impact on the labor transfer, and the results show that education level and the opportunity to participate in the training are important factors.展开更多

文摘The accumulated large amount of satellite magnetic data strengthens our capability of resolving the electrical conductivity of Earth’s mantle. To invert these satellite magnetic data, accurate and efficient forward modeling solvers are needed. In this study,a new finite-element based forward modeling solver is developed to accurately and efficiently compute the induced electromagnetic field for a realistic 3D Earth.Firstly, the nodal-based finite element method with linear shape function on tetrahedral grid is used to assemble the final system of linear equations for the magnetic vector potential and electric scalar potential. The FGMRES solver with algebraic multigrid(AMG)preconditioner is used to quickly solve the final system of linear equations. The weighted moving least-square method is employed to accurately recover the electromagnetic field from the numerical solutions of magnetic vector and electric scalar potentials.Furthermore,a local mesh refinement technique is employed to improve the accuracy of the estimated electromagnetic field. At the end,two synthetic models are used to verify the accuracy and efficiency of our newly developed forward modeling solver.A realistic 3D Earth model is used to simulate the induced magnetic field at 450 and 200 km altitudes which are the planned flying altitudes of Macao’s geomagnetic satellites. The simulation indicates that(1)the amplitude of the mantle-induced magnetic field can reach 10–30 nT at 450 km altitude, which is 10–30%of the primary magnetic field. The induced magnetic field at 200 km altitude has larger amplitudes. These mantleinduced magnetic fields can be measured by Macao geomagnetic satellites;(2)the amplitude of the ocean-induced magnetic field can reach 5–30 nT at satellite altitudes, which needs to be carefully considered in the interpretation of satellite magnetic data.We are confident that our newly developed forward modeling solver will become a key tool for interpreting satellite magnetic data.
