Methanol yield of about 7%-8% was obtained in gas phase partial oxidation. It was proposed that the reactor could be divided into three reaction zones, namely pre-reaction zone, fierce reaction zone, and post-reaction zone, when the temperature was high enough to initiate a reaction. The oxidation of methane proceeded and was completed mostly in the fierce reaction zone. When the reactant mixture entered the post-reaction zone, only a small amount of produced methanol would bring about secondary reactions, because molecular oxygen had been exhausted in the fierce reaction zone. A catalyst, if necessary, should be placed either in the pre-reaction zone, to initiate a partial oxidation reaction at a lower temperature, or in the fierce reaction zone to control the homogeneous free radical reaction. 展开更多

Skin aging is a systematic and complex process,mainly including intrinsic aging caused by time change and extrinsic aging caused by environmental factors.Photoaging caused by ultraviolet(UV)irradiation is the principle extrinsic factor of skin aging,which can directly or indirectly cause damage to DNA and other biomolecules,generate reactive oxygen species(ROS),and induce a decrease in collagen synthesis and other adverse effect.Herein,to address the causative factors and multiple side effects of skin photoaging,we constructed multifunctional peptide-melanin hybrid nanodots(PMHDs)to achieve multifaceted synergistic anti-skin aging by using melanin-like nanodots(MDs)and functional peptides as active motifs.Among them,the peptide has the activity of promoting collagen synthesis,while the MDs have the function of absorbing UV light and scavenging free radicals.Additionally,the MDs also act as a carrier to increase the cellular uptake of the peptide.The anti-photoaging effects of the PMHDs were systematically verified in a multidimensional manner at the biochemical,cellular and small animal levels,respectively. 展开更多

Building self-assembly nanostructures is an important way to overcome the limitations of paclitaxel in tumor therapy.However,this strategy is also faced with challenges,such as difficulties in efficient release and the potential for drug resistance.Herein,we developed a near-infrared light-activatable melanized paclitaxel self-assembly nanoparticles for synergistic anti-tumor therapy.In this strategy,paclitaxel dimer prodrugs were synthesized and paclitaxel nanoparticles were obtained through self-assembly.Finally,the paclitaxel dimer nanoparticles were capped with polydopamine(PDA,melanoidin)and human serum albumin(HSA).The disulfide bonds in paclitaxel dimeric prodrug specifically respond to high concentrations of glutathione(GSH)and reactive oxygen species(ROS)in tumor cells.PDA enhances the biocompatibility of the drug molecules and imparts near-infrared photothermal conversion capability to the nano-self-assemblies.Both the in vitro and in vivo experiments demonstrated that this paclitaxel nanoprodrug exhibited enhanced tumor therapeutic efficacy under near-infrared light irradiation. 展开更多
