目的探讨托伐普坦治疗急性充血性心力衰竭合并慢性肾功能不全的临床疗效。方法回顾性分析2018年8月-2019年5月郑州大学第一附属医院心内科重症监护室98例患者的临床资料,根据是否服用托伐普坦分为托伐普坦组(47例)和对照组(51例)。托伐... 目的探讨托伐普坦治疗急性充血性心力衰竭合并慢性肾功能不全的临床疗效。方法回顾性分析2018年8月-2019年5月郑州大学第一附属医院心内科重症监护室98例患者的临床资料,根据是否服用托伐普坦分为托伐普坦组(47例)和对照组(51例)。托伐普坦组在对照组治疗方案上加服托伐普坦,剂量为7.5~15.0 mg/d,1次/d。比较治疗前、治疗后1周和1个月心功能、肾功能、电解质等指标的变化;评估两组患者肾功能恶化情况。结果两组不同时间点的NT-proBNP水平有差异(P<0.05),两组NT-proBNP水平无差异(P>0.05),两组NT-proBNP水平随时间变化趋势有差异(P<0.05);两组不同时间点的血清钠水平有差异(P<0.05),两组血清钠水平无差异(P>0.05),两组血清钠水平随时间变化趋势有差异(P<0.05);两组不同时间点的血尿素氮(BUN)、血肌酐(Scr)、肾小球滤过率(GFR)、β2微球蛋白(β2-MG)、胱抑素C(CysC)水平有差异(P<0.05),两组BUN、Scr、GFR、β2-MG、CysC水平无差异(P>0.05),两组BUN、Scr、GFR、β2-MG、CysC水平随时间变化趋势有差异(P<0.05)。结论托伐普坦能有效改善充血性心力衰竭患者体内的液体潴留,纠正心力衰竭及低钠血症,同时不引起肾功能的恶化,具有肾保护作用。 展开更多

AIM:To investigate the therapeutic effects of four strains of probiotics(E.feacalis,L.acidophilus,C.butyricum and B.adolescentis) on dextran sulphate sodium(DSS)-induced experimental colitis in Balb/c mice.METHODS:Eighty Balb/c mice were randomly divided into 8 groups.Weight-loss,fecal character,fecal occult blood and hematochezia were recorded daily.Disease activity index(DAI) scores were also evaluated everyday.Length of colon was measured and histological scores were evaluated on the 13th day.Myeloperoxidase(MPO) activity was detected.Interleukin-1(IL-1) and IL-4 expression was detected by ELISA and RT-PCR.RESULTS:The four strains of probiotics relieved the inflammatory condition of DSS-induced experimental colitis in mice.Weight loss was slowed down in all probiotics-treated mice.Even weight gain was observed by the end of probiotics treatment.The DAI and histological scores of probiotics-treated mice were lower than those of mice in the control group(1.9 ± 0.2 vs 8.6 ± 0.4,P < 0.05 for E.faecalis).The length of colon of probiotics-treated mice was longer than that of mice in the control group(10.3 ± 0.34 vs 8.65 ± 0.77,P < 0.05 for E.faecalis).The four strains of probiotics decreased the MP activity and the IL-1 expression,but increased the IL-4 expression.E.faecalis had a better effect on DSS-induced experimental colitis in mice than the other three strains.CONCLUSION:The four strains of probiotics have beneficial effects on experimental colitis in mice.E.faecalis has a better effect on DSS-induced experimental colitis in mice than the other three strains.Supplement of probiotics provides a new therapy for UC. 展开更多

The cathode materials of spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)were recovered via reductive roasting,Na_(2)CO_(3) leaching,and ammonia leaching.The effects of roasting parameters,Na_(2)CO_(3) leaching parameters,and ammonia leaching parameters on the leaching efficiencies of metals were explored.The results show that the mineral phase of spent LIBs is reconstructed during reductive roasting,and more than 99%of Li can be preferentially leached via Na_(2)CO_(3) leaching.Ni(99.7%)and Co(99.9%)can be leached via one-step ammonia leaching,and Mn cannot be leached.Thus,good leaching selectivity is achieved.The kinetic study shows that the leaching of Ni and Co conforms to chemical reaction control. 展开更多

AIM:To determine the efficacy profiles of different concentrations of Lactobacillus acidophilus(L.acidophilus)for treating colitis using an experimental murine model.METHODS:Colitis was established in 64 BALB/c mice by adding 5%dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)to the drinking water and allowing ad libitum access for 7 d.The mice were then randomly divided into the following control and experimental model groups(n=8 each;day 0):untreated model control;negative-treatment model control(administered gavage of 1 mL/10 g normal saline);experimental-treatment models C4-C8(administered gavage of 104,105,106,107,or 108CFU/10 g L.acidophilus,respectively);positive-treatment model control(administration of the anti-inflammatory agent prednisone acetate at 45 g/10 g).Eight mice given regular water(no DSS)and no subsequent treatments served as the normal control group.Body weight,fecal traits,and presence of fecal occult blood were assessed daily.All animals were sacrificed on post-treatment day7 to measure colonic length,perform histological scoring,and quantify the major bacteria in the proximal and distal colon.Intergroup differences were determined by one-way ANOVA and post-hoc Student-Newman-Keuls comparison.RESULTS:All treatments(L.acidophilus and prednisone acetate)protected against colitis-induced weight loss(P<0.05 vs model and normal control groups).The extent of colitis-induced colonic shortening was significantly reduced by all treatments(prednisone acetate>C4>C5>C7>C8>C6;P<0.05 vs untreated model group),and the C6 group showed colonic length similar to that of the normal control group(P>0.05).The C6 group also had the lowest disease activity index scores among the model groups.The bacterial profiles in the proximal colon were similar between all of the experimental-treatment model groups(all P>0.05).In contrast,the bacterial profile in the distal colon of the C6 group showed the distinctive features(P<0.05 vs all other experimental-treatment model groups)of Lactobacillus sp.and Bifidobacterium sp.being the most abundant bacteria and Staphylococcus aureus being the least abundant bacteria.CONCLUSION:The most therapeutically efficacious concentration of L.acidophilus(106CFU/10 g)may exert its effects by modulating the bacterial profile in the distal colon. 展开更多

AIM: To analyze the microbiota shift in the dista esophagus of Sprague-Dawley rats fed a high-fat diet. METHODS: Twenty Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into high-fat diet and normal control groups of 10 rats each. The composition of microbiota in the mucosa from the distal esophagus was analyzed based on se- lective culture. A variety of Lactobacillus species were identified by molecular biological techniques. Bacterial DNA from Lactobacillus colonies was extracted, and 165 rDNA was amplified by PCR using bacterial uni- versal primers. The amplified 16S rDNA products were separated by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE). Every single band was purified from the gel and sent to be sequenced. RESULTS: Based on mucosal bacterial culturing in the distal esophagus, Staphylococcus aureus was absent, and total anaerobes and Lactobacillus species were de- creased significantly in the high-fat diet group compared with the normal control group (P 〈 0.01). Detailed DGGE analysis on the composition of Lactobacillus species in the distal esophagus revealed that Lactobacillus crispa- tus, Lactobacillus gasseri (L. gasser/] and Lactobacillus reuteri (L. reuterl] comprised the Lactobacillus species in the high-fat diet group, while the composition of Lactobacillus species in the normal control group consisted of L. gasseri, Lactobacillus jensenii and L. reuteri. CONCLUSION: High-fat diet led to a mucosal micro- flora shift in the distal esophagus in rats, especially the composition of Lactobacillus species. 展开更多

A metal-free N-hydroxyphthalimide/hexagonal boron nitride(NHPI/h-BN)catalytic system was developed for deep oxidative desulfurization(ODS)of fuel oils.Detailed experiments find that the heterogenization process of loading NHPI on h-BN not only benefits to the dispersion and utilization of NHPI,but also can significantly promote the catalytic performance.By employing NHPI/h-BN as the catalyst,azodiisobutyronitrile(AIBN)as the metal-free initiator,a 95%conversion of dibenzothiophene(DBT)can be acquired under the reaction conditions of 120°C and atmospheric pressure with molecular oxygen(O_(2))as oxidant.Moreover,the heterogenization is convenient for the regeneration of the catalyst with>94%DBT conversion after being recycled seven times.Characterizations illustrate that the promoted catalytic activity along with the regenerability originate from the interactions between NHPI and h-BN.The catalytic mechanism study shows that molecular oxygen is readily activated by the NHPI/h-BN to form a superoxide radical(O_(2)^(·-)),which oxidize DBT to DBTO2 for desulfurization. 展开更多

AIM: To investigate the biocompatibility and therapeutic effects of polyetheretherketone(PEEK) on recovery of a rabbit orbital defect.METHODS: Totally 16 New Zealand rabbits were used to establish an orbital bone defect model and then randomly divided into two groups. PEEK was implanted in the experimental group. The control group was blank, and no substance was implanted. The model rabbits were sacrificed at 4 and 8 wk, and examined by general observations, histology, electron microscopy, Western blotting, and realtime polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS: No infection or rejection occurred after PEEK implantation, and biocompatibility was good. The relative expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) protein in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group postoperatively(P<0.05). Bone defect repair in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group in the same period and some osteogenesis was observed.CONCLUSION: PEEK has good biocompatibility and efficacy for the treatment of orbital bone defects in a rabbit model. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Cesarean scar pregnancy(CSP)is rare but may result in uterine rupture during pregnancy or massive hemorrhage during abortion procedures.Awareness of this condition is increasing,and most patients with CSP are now diagnosed early and can be managed safely.However,some atypical patients are misdiagnosed,and their surgical risks are underestimated,increasing the risk of fatal hemorrhage.CASE SUMMARY A 27-year-old Asian woman visited our institution because of abnormal pregnancy,and she was diagnosed with a hydatidiform mole through transvaginal ultrasound(TVS).Under hysteroscopy,a large amount of placental tissue was found in the scar of the lower uterine segment,and a sudden massive hemorrhage occurred during the removal process.The bilateral internal iliac arteries were temporarily blocked under laparoscopy,and scar resection and repair were rapidly performed.She was discharged in good condition 5 d after the operation.CONCLUSION Although TVS is widely used in the diagnosis of CSP,delays in the diagnosis of atypical CSP remain.Surgical treatment following internal iliac artery temporary occlusion may be an appropriate management method for unanticipated massive hemorrhage during CSP surgery. 展开更多

Background:Cancer cachexia is a complex disease secondary to cancer,and no specific therapy for it has been found.The Chinese herb Kushen(Radix Sophorae flavescentis)is the dried root of Sophora flavescens Aiton,which has been widely applied in treating digestive and urinary inflammatory diseases.Matrine,one of the main components of Radix Sophorae flavescentis,can alleviate cancer cachexia.Methods:Compounds from Radix Sophorae flavescentis were screened using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform.The targets related to cancer cachexia were queried from the Therapeutic Target Database(http://db.idrblab.net),DisGeNET database(http://www.disgenet.org),and Search Tool for Interacting Chemicals database,related literature,and constructed cancer cachexia-protein network.Cancer cachexia-protein network was merged with compound-protein networks respectively using Cytoscape software as well as network topology data and key targets counting.Pathway enrichment analysis was conducted via the Database for Functional Annotation Bioinformatics Microarray Analysis.Protein crystal structures and compound structures were queried from RCSB and PubChem databases,respectively.Molecular docking was conducted using Discovery Studio software.Results:The anticancer cachexia compounds of Radix Sophorae flavescentis were screened as oxymatrine,matrine,and kurarinol,and targets such as BIRC2,TNF and STAT3 were found.The mechanisms of oxymatrine,matrine,and kurarinol have the characteristics of synergy and complementarity.Kurarinol has a mechanism similar to that of matrine,which includes the FoxO signaling pathway,insulin resistance and mTOR signaling pathway.TNF signaling pathway is a common signaling pathway of kurarinol,oxymatrine and matrine.Adipocytokine signaling pathway is the other common pathway of kurarinol and oxymatrine except for the TNF signaling pathway.Kurarinol can be successfully docked with CYCS,GPX2,BIRC7,etc.,and kushenol C can be successfully docked with IKBKB and PIK3CD.Conclusion:Kurarinol,matrine,oxymatrine,and kushenol C may be the key compounds of Radix Sophorae flavescentis treating cancer cachexia.Additionally,TNF signaling pathway is the key pathway for the synergistic action of kurarinol,matrine and oxymatrine. 展开更多

Wolbachia are endosymbiotic bacteria that infect numerous arthropod species. Previous studies in Panama and Australia revealed that the majority of fig wasp species harbor Wolbachia infections, but that similar patterns of incidence have evolved inde- pendently with different wasp species and Wolbachia strains on the two continents. We found Wolbachia infections in 25/47 species (53%) of fig wasp associated with 25 species of Chinese figs. Phylogenetic analyses of Wotbachia wsp sequences indicated that very similar strains are not obviously found in either closely related or ecologically linked fig wasps species. The extremely high prevalence of Wolbachia in fig wasps (over 50% of species infected) is not constrained by geographical origin and is a recurrent theme of fig wasp/Wolbachia interactions. 展开更多
