The Newhall navel orange (Citrus sinensis Osbeck) canopy was sprayed w...This study aimed to provide a theoretical basis for adopting suitable cultivation measures to tackle calcium (Ca) deficiency in citrus leaves. The Newhall navel orange (Citrus sinensis Osbeck) canopy was sprayed with 20.0 mmol L-1 of Ca(NO3)2 during physiological fruit drop period, fruit expanding period, and fruit maturing period on 30, 90, and 210 days after full bloom (DAFB), respectively, and its effects on leaf gas exchange parameters and leaf mineral nutrition and fruit quality were analyzed. The results showed that: (1) The photosynthetic rate (ACO2) at 9:00 a.m. and 16:00 p.m. of fruit expanding period with 30 and 90 DAFB Ca(NO3)2treatments slightly or significantly improved mainly by decreasing stomatal limitation and nonstomatal limitation, respectively. (2) Compared with control (CK), the Ca concentration in leaves with 30, 90, and 240 DAFB Ca(NO3)2 treatments increased by 127.16; 97.53, and 33.33%, respectively, and the leaf magnesium concentra- tion also increased by more than 32.26%. However, Ca(NO3)2 canopy spraying on 30 DAFB significantly reduced the leaf potassium concentration, by 22.14% compared with CK. (3) Ca(NO3)2 canopy spraying on 30 DAFB decreased the second fruit drop rate by 30.55% and increased the weight per fruit by 25.04%, thus resulting in a significant increase in citrus yield. (4) Spraying Ca(NO3) on 30 DAFB mainly affected the metabolism of titratable acid (TA) to improve the maturity of citrus fruits. Whilst it improved the external quality and the coloring of citrus fruit significantly. Therefore, Ca(NO3)2 canopy spraying during physiological fruit drop period has a better influence on the tree character and fruit quality of Newhall navel orange (Citrus sinensis Osbeck).展开更多
[ Objective] To screen a suitable serum dilution and determine the normal range of antibodies against rabies viruses (RV) in dog serum. A total...[ Objective] To screen a suitable serum dilution and determine the normal range of antibodies against rabies viruses (RV) in dog serum. [Method]A sensitive, specific and suitable serum dilution was screened. A total of 812 dog serum samples were collected from Changchun, Nanning and Uuzhou regions, and then they were diluted with above screened serum dilution and evaluated by indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbont assay (ELISA). The positive and negative standard dog sara from the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) were used as controls. The serum samples with different A450 were randomly selected and the anti-RV serum titers were detected by rapid fluorescent focus inhibition test (RFFIT). According to the A450 of dog sera, the normal A450 range of negative serum and 95% confidence intervals were calculated with SPSS 10.0 software, and the regression equation of OIE standards was established. [ Result] The screened serum dilution was sensitive and specific; at least 756 negative serum samples were obtained; the normal range and 95% confidence interval of negative serum were 0.127 3 ± 0.059 8 and 0.078 1 -0.172 3, respectively; and the regression equation was A450 = 1.139 serum titer (IU) ±0.470. In the present study, the safety of Hoemophilus influenza type b conjugate vaccines inoculated in the upper arm deltoid and vastus lateralis muscle was evaluated. 680 infants aged 2-5 months and 6-12 months were selec...In the present study, the safety of Hoemophilus influenza type b conjugate vaccines inoculated in the upper arm deltoid and vastus lateralis muscle was evaluated. 680 infants aged 2-5 months and 6-12 months were selected to be the research subjects in whom the Hib conjugate vaccines were inoculated by injection in the upper arm deltoid and vastus lateralis muscle, respectively. The safety analysis indicated that there were no statistic differences in the incidence rates of adverse reactions when the Hib conjugate vaccines were inoculated at different sites. So we concluded that the safety of inoculation injection of Hib conjugate vaccines in vastus lateralis muscle was the same as that inoculated in the upper arm deltoid.展开更多
