It is critical to acknowledge that the coexistence of genes related to carbapenem and polymyxin resistance can exacerbate challenges in antimicrobial therapy.In this study,we identified Klebsiella pneumoniae isolate L...It is critical to acknowledge that the coexistence of genes related to carbapenem and polymyxin resistance can exacerbate challenges in antimicrobial therapy.In this study,we identified Klebsiella pneumoniae isolate L2425 fromthe feces of an ICU patient in China.The isolate belongs to sequence type 11 and carries the antimicrobial resistance genes blaKPC-2,bla_(CTX-M-65) and mcr-8.Through S1-nuclease pulsed-field gel electrophoresis and Southern blotting analysis,we confirmed the presence of a~110 kb plasmid harboring the mcr-8 gene with a conserved structure(inhA-mcr-8-ompR-dgkA-IS903B).Furthermore,another~130 kb plasmid carrying bla_(KPC-2) was detected along with a composite transposon flanked by insertion sequence IS26.Conjugation experiments demonstrated that both pL2425-KPC-2 and pL2425-MCR-8 plasmids were transferable.Importantly,this is the first instance of clinical fecal samples from China containing a K.pneumoniae strain carrying both blaKPC-2 and mcr-8 genes.These findings underscore the significance of surveillance for carbapenemases and mobile colistin–resistance variants.展开更多

With the analysis of flight characteristics, a linear dynamic model is constructed by the ...This paper proposes a model identification method to get high performance dynamic model of a small unmanned aerial rotorcraft. With the analysis of flight characteristics, a linear dynamic model is constructed by the small perturbation theory. Using the micro guidance navigation and control module, the system can record the control signals of servos, the state infor- mation of attitude and velocity information in sequence. After the data preprocessing, an adaptive ant colony algorithm is proposed to get optimal parameters of the dynamic model. With the adaptive adjustment of the pheromone in the selection process, the proposed model identification method can escape from local minima traps and get the optimal solution quickly. Performance analysis and experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the identified dynamic model. Compared with real flight data, the identified model generated by the proposed method has a better performance than the model generated by the adaptive genetic algorithm. Based on the identified dynamic model, the small unmanned aerial rotorcraft can generate suitable control parameters to realize stable hovering, turning, and straight flight.展开更多

Plants produce a rich diversity of biological forms,and the diversity of leaves is especially notable.Mechanisms of leaf morphogenesis have been studied in the past two decades,with a growing focus on the interactive ...Plants produce a rich diversity of biological forms,and the diversity of leaves is especially notable.Mechanisms of leaf morphogenesis have been studied in the past two decades,with a growing focus on the interactive roles of mechanics in recent years.Growth of plant organs involves feedback by mechanical stress:growth induces stress,and stress affects growth and morphogenesis.Although much attention has been given to potential stress-sensing mechanisms and cellular responses,the mechanical principles guiding morphogenesis have not been well understood.Here we synthesize the overarching roles of mechanics and mechanical stress in multilevel and multiple stages of leaf morphogenesis,encompassing leaf primordium initiation,phyllotaxis and venation patterning,and the establishment of complex mature leaf shapes.Moreover,the roles of mechanics at multiscale levels,from subcellular cytoskeletal molecules to single cells to tissues at the organ scale,are articulated.By highlighting the role of mechanical buckling in the formation of three-dimensional leaf shapes,this review integrates the perspectives of mechanics and biology to provide broader insights into the mechanobiology of leaf morphogenesis.展开更多
