The SO_2 adsorption capacities and rates were evaluated by adsorption tests performed in a fixed bed reactor with a simulated flue gas, and the adsorption isotherm models were validated against the experimental results. The findings revealed that the SO_2 adsorption capacity decreased in the following order: MW-K_2Cr_2O_7-CAC > MWKMnO_4-CAC > MW-H_2O_2-CAC > MW-CAC. The SO_2 adsorption capacities and adsorption rates of the samples increased with an increasing oxidizability of the oxidants owing to the increment of mean pore size and oxygen-containing functional groups. In addition, a high initial SO_2 concentration and a low bed temperature could positively affect the SO2 adsorption. Finally, the Langmuir model validated that SO_2 was mainly adsorbed through chemical adsorption on the sample surfaces.展开更多
Through coupling electromagnetic field equations with turbulent flow equations,the numerical prediction has been conducted on the flow field of molten steel and the trajectory of inclusion particle in the continuous c...Through coupling electromagnetic field equations with turbulent flow equations,the numerical prediction has been conducted on the flow field of molten steel and the trajectory of inclusion particle in the continuous casting mold effected by electromagnetic field.The difference between the maximum and the minimum of the shear stress on mold wall is used to scale the impingement strength of molten steel discharged from immersed nozzle to the solidifying shell on the narrow wall of mold.The flow field of molten steel in the mold is changed greatly and the impingement strength of the jet is reduced while electromagnetic field is applied.It is found that the successful control of flow field depends on the current and location of coil.At the same time,the new floating paths of inclusion particles are formed and the upward particles that are far away from the solidifying zone on the narrow wall of mold change their moving directions with the change of flow field,so that the particles can avoid being entrapped by the solidifying shell.展开更多
This thesis examines the habitat characteristics of traditional villages in Chongqing and characterisesthe spatial distribution of these villages through ArcGIS from a macro perspective.In addition,the habitats charac...This thesis examines the habitat characteristics of traditional villages in Chongqing and characterisesthe spatial distribution of these villages through ArcGIS from a macro perspective.In addition,the habitats characteristics and ecological value system of individual traditional villages are explored using typological researchmethod and corresponding comprehensive protection strategies are deeply discussed.The research results showthat these villages feature non-equilibrium aggregation,mainly concentrated in higher-altitude regions such as inthe southeast,especially in the Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous Region.The landscape pattern of the overallhuman settlement area of traditional villages in Chongqing has the characteristics of“woodland-terrace-pondhouse”,the spatial settlement pattern of“distribution around the terrace”,and the aquatic ecosystem model of“pond-terrace-pond”driven by the potential energy of altitude difference.By analyzing the landscape patterns ofhuman settlements,the ecological value system is summarized.Finally,comprehensive protection strategies forthese human settlements are presented,including ensuring the integrity of spatial patterns,respecting ecologicallaws,making full use of agricultural wisdom and strengthening ecological production symbiosis mechanism.展开更多
A mechanical analysis is done to find the evolution of the interface profile between binary immiscible fluids induced by a three-dimensional orthogonal magnetic field gradient.In the experiments,the changes of the int...A mechanical analysis is done to find the evolution of the interface profile between binary immiscible fluids induced by a three-dimensional orthogonal magnetic field gradient.In the experiments,the changes of the interface profile between four groups of binary immiscible fluids are investigated under the same horizontal magnetic field gradients.The binary immiscible fluids are made of benzene and other liquids,like CuSO4,Fecl3,FeSO4 or Cucl2 aqueous solutions.In addition,the interface profile between the benzene and CuSO4 aqueous solution is examined under different horizontal magnetic field gradients.The experimental results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.This study explains the enhanced Moses effect from a mechanics standpoint.Furthermore,a new method for susceptibility measurement is proposed based on this enhanced Moses effect.展开更多
