The study reveals that, while foreign language majors possess linguistic strengths, they encounter notable challenges in areas such as cross-cultural understanding, storytelling techniques, and critical thinking. To address these challenges, five key strategies are proposed: strengthening interdisciplinary integration and innovative curriculum design, improving language proficiency and translation skills, fostering cross-cultural communication and comparative understanding of China’s culture, building practice platforms to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and integrating value-based education into the curriculum. By following these strategies, the study aims to comprehensively enhance foreign language majors’ capability to “tell China’s stories effectively” and contribute to the global dissemination of Chinese culture.展开更多
